Brilliant 10.25” fully digital cluster.
For an even more high-tech look in the cockpit, the brilliant new fully digital 10.25’” cluster displays essential driving information where you can see it best: front and centre. The right-hand dial displays electric powertrain information like the current state of battery charge as well as the current level of power usage.
Change the mode to suit your mood.
Switch drive modes to suit conditions – and your mood! You can instantly adjust the driving dynamics and feel of your Kona Electric – at the push of a button. The colour schemes of the fully digital 10.25” open cluster change depending on which drive mode is selected. Choose from Comfort, Eco or Sport. There is also an additional Cube interface design for a different look.
10.25” touchscreen.
The 10.25” touchscreen provides easy access to car features, infotainment, navigation, and your favourite apps and music via smartphone mirroring.
Fresh new interior colours.
Featuring new colours and materials, the new Kona Electric is available with a one-tone black interior with seats in cloth, cloth-leather or full leather; as well as a two-tone grey interior with melange combination cloth-leather seats or full leather seats.
Black one-tone.
With the black woven cloth seats, industrial-inspired grains accentuate the fine-spun linear seat trim. The cloth-leather combination features an eye-catching geometric pattern. A perforated full-leather version is also available.
Grey two-tone.
The new Kona Electric is also available with a grey two-tone interior with melange combination cloth-leather seats or full leather seats.

Depending on your grid connection at home or the type of fast charging station you have access to, the new Kona Electric offers various possibilities and plug types for charging.
Electric driving technology.
The carefully matched components of the electric powertrain have been engineered to provide excellent driving characteristics and a practical everyday driving range. The specially designed platform enables a space-saving integration of the battery packs without compromising roominess.
Electric Motor
The 64 kWh battery is paired with an electric motor which delivers of 204 PS (150 kW). The 39.2 kWh battery comes with an electric motor delivering 136 PS (100 kW).
Lithium-Ion Polymer battery
The Kona Electric’s lithium-ion polymer battery has a lower memory sensitivity and excellent charge efficiency compared to conventional batteries.

Available with two different powertrain versions, you can pick your power and preferred range: the 39.2 kWh battery with up to 305 km driving range. Or the 64 kWh version that delivers up to 484 km range on a single charge(1).

Smart technology for intelligent driving.
Maximise your range while driving with Kona Electric’s regenerative braking systems which let you charge the battery by using the electric motor to slow the car.
Adjustable regenerative braking.
Braking is optimised to get the most out of the recuperative braking system, helping Kona Electric maintain a healthy state of charge (SOC). The driver can easily adjust the level of regenerative braking through the paddle shifters behind the steering wheel.
1-paddle mode
It is also possible to actively brake the car using the paddle shifter. Simply pull the left paddle shifter and hold. You can slow the car to a complete stop in this way without pressing the conventional brake pedal.
Smart regenerative braking.
The smart regenerative braking system utilizes the on-board radar sensor to automatically control the level of recuperative braking to react to the traffic ahead. Additionally, it also detects if the KONA Electric is driving up or downhill and adjusts accordingly.

Heated and ventilated seats.
Warm in winter and cool in summer. The driver and front seat passenger seats are available with seat heating and ventilation.
Rear seat comfort.
The rear passengers will appreciate the heated second row seats and a convenient rear USB so they can charge their smartphone in comfort.
Electronic Parking Brake (EPB).
An electronic parking brake can be found in the centre console as well. Convenient and easy to use, it also frees up space in the interior.
Rear-view monitor.
Enjoy better visibility when parking and driving. At the push of a button, the rear-view monitor shows you exactly what’s going on behind you on the centre touch screen – even while driving.
Head-up display (HUD).
With impressive visibility, our head-up display helps you stay safe by projecting important information like speed, navigation commands, and warnings right into your line of sight.

Bluelink® Connected Car Services bring seamless connectivity directly into the new Kona Electric with online voice recognition and a wide range of features to make your drive more convenient and enjoyable. On top of the many clever features you can control with the Bluelink app, a free five-year subscription to Hyundai’s LIVE Services is also included with the navigation system.

Save everything just how you like it. Now you can save your infotainment preferences, such as language, Bluetooth and navigation settings.
Expanded voice recognition.

Remote climate setting.
Too cold outside? No problem. Kona Electric lets you schedule a time that you would like to pre-heat your car, defrost your windows and activate your steering wheel heating electrically when connected to an external power source – like at home in your garage. This is comfy and also saves battery power that would be needed later to heat the car on the road.
Distance to Empty (DTE).
Before you get on the road, check the distance you can cover with your Hyundai’s current charge.
Charging schedule.
The Bluelink app provides access and control over your electric Hyundai’s charging schedule. Manage it to ensure the best battery life and electricity rates. And that your car is fully charged when you are ready to go, of course.
Charging limits.
Override default setting. Take total control of charging your electric Hyundai. You can decide the limits for fast and overall charging – if you want to.
Find my car.
Forgot where you parked? Just open the Bluelink app to see the current location of your car – anywhere in the world.
Destination send to car.
If your new Kona is equipped with navigation, you can use the Bluelink app to search for destinations while outside of your car. Bluelink then syncs the route into your navigation system. Just get in and press go.
Alarm notification.
Bluelink always keeps an eye on your car. If someone tries to break into your new Kona – the door lock is compromised and the door is opened – it will send a push-notification to your smartphone.
Car health information.
For more peace of mind, you can run a remote diagnostic check from the Bluelink app. The vehicle report can show information on tyre pressure, malfunction indicator, airbags, brake system and more.
Remote door lock & unlock.
Forget to lock your Hyundai? Don’t worry, the car will let you know by sending a push notification to your phone. Then, using your PIN, you can lock or unlock your Hyundai by using a button in the Bluelink app.
Last Mile Navigation.
Finish navigating on foot. If you are within 200 m – 2 km, you can hand over navigation from the car to the Bluelink app. With augmented reality, your phone will then guide you exactly where you want to go.

Because nothing’s more important than the safety of your loved ones, we gave the new Kona Electric an upgrade. With Hyundai SmartSense, our cutting-edge Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, it has been updated with the very latest safety and driving assist features for added peace of mind.
Blind Spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA).
Using two radar sensors in the lower rear bumper, the system warns you of traffic in the blind spot area. Should you set the turn indicator in such a situation, it will sound an acoustic alert and brake to prevent collision.
Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA).
When reversing out of areas with low visibility, the system not only warns the driver if vehicles approach from the side – it also applies the brakes automatically.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with pedestrian and cyclist detection (FCA)
Sensing the road ahead with radar and a camera, the FCA system automatically brakes when it detects sudden braking by the car ahead, or pedestrians and bicycles on the road.
