• The previous generation Santa Fe was awarded as the Best Used Seven-Seat Hybrid.
• These prestigious awards recognize the best new and used cars on the market.
Hyundai celebrates a new double success at the What Car? Electric Car Awards, with both the latest and previous generation Santa Fe. The new Santa Fe has added yet another distinction to its showcase, being awarded for the second consecutive year as Best Seven-Seat Hybrid. This important award recognizes the significance of electrified vehicles and is decided by a panel of expert judges.
From the very first day of its launch, the latest Santa Fe has received significant awards for its quality, practicality, and engine lineup. Recognition from What Car? adds to a series of accolades, including TopGear.com’s SUV of the Year 2024, Carwow’s Car of the Year 2025, and Autotrader’s 2025 Drivers’ Choice Award for the best seven-seat vehicle.
What Car? Editor-in-Chief Steve Huntingford commented:
“The latest Santa Fe is bigger and more spacious than ever, comfortably accommodating seven passengers. Despite its size, it handles easily and confidently on the road, thanks to its advanced driving control systems and strong road-holding capabilities. It also features a high-quality interior and is offered at competitive prices. All these factors make it the best plug-in hybrid on the market.”
In turn, Hyundai UK President Ashley Andrew stated:
“The Santa Fe has established itself as one of buyers’ serious choices in recent years, and the latest model has proven extremely popular.”
